Grief & Loss
The house is too quiet now. The gut-punch of loneliness, it catches your breath every time you turn to share a story, a glance, or just talk about your day. Grief leaves an unimaginable hollow that feels like endless days of cold and fear and empty.
Grief shows up in so many places. Loss of a loved one. Loss of a job. A frightening medical diagnosis. A break-up, or divorce.
Loss of a future you planned for. The future you hoped for.
In therapy, we will work through grief however it presents itself. Together we will witness this pain, try to understand it, and learn ways to find peace along this challenging road.
Types of Grief:
Spousal/Partner Loss
Loss of a Child
Death of a Parent
Medical Issues (cancer, etc.)
Complicated Grief
Sudden Loss (including crime victims)
